The growing interest in tree farming has necessitated the need for providing information on nursery and cultivation practices of economically important tree species. IFGTB established a Tree Information centre on 16.11.2009 within the campus for farmers, foresters and educational institutions. This centre acts as a single window for dissemination of information related to tree farming. It provides information related to package of practices of important tree species, plantation technologies, advancement made in Genetics and Tree Breeding, Biotechnology, Biofertilizers and seed handling techniques, etc.
